All American Eskimo Dogs are fully vetted, micro-chipped and are on Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventatives. Each dog is adopted with a new collar, leash and ID tag for their new home.

Chicagoland Eskie Rescue, specializing in American Eskimo Dog Rescue & Re-Homing was established in January of 2008. The rescue is a recognized 501(c)(3)Non-Profit Organization that is made up entirely of volunteers who are dedicated to providing shelter, care, vetting and an adoption program for abandoned and relinquished American Eskimo Dogs.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

Rhonda T.

Hubby and I have adopted Eskies from multiple rescues over the course of the last 20+ years. Chicagoland, by far has been the most committed to ensuring the best possible placement for the family and the rescued pup. The organization is run by professionals who truly care. I know firsthand that if I have any type of question, whether medical, dietary, or behavioral I can phone, text or instant message and get my questions answered or directed to someone that can. I continue to marvel at all they do and appreciate the fact that when it comes to rescuing, the work doesn't stop at the border of any particular state or country for that matter. I am so grateful they allowed us to adopt Cami Ray of Sunshine and Hunter Punter Pudding Pie.

Chicagoland Eskie rescue goes out of their way to match the perfect dog with the perfect home. So glad that I found my Chicago Rose through them. She is the love of my life.

I’m writing this with one hand because my other hand is busy petting my fur baby Artie. Artie’s still here because Paula decided to rescue him because he happened to have the good fortune to be placed in a cage near an eskie. She makes the world a better place. Thanks Paula!!!

These people ROCK.! They work long and hard to pick up, provide, rescue and find homes for all the animals. They spend countless hours to make the right match for the right person so they will both have their for-ever homes. They take the animals into their home, feed them, train them and love them. They are good people, they are kind people and I have the utmost respect for all and every rescue person. It is sometimes .....not, ........ an easy thing to do............

Amazing people, amazing organization, amazing dogs. We have adopted two beloved family members from CER -- standard Eskie Max and Pomeranian Cayden. It's refreshing to work with a rescue that is so balanced in its dedication to the dogs and the adoptive families, so ethical and kind, and so thorough in handing off dogs with detailed medical records and more. We highly recommend that people adopt from -- and donate to -- Chicagoland Eskie Rescue.

All of the dogs we foster are in private homes. Chicagoland Eskie Rescue does not have a shelter. Without foster homes, we will not survive.
