Meet Marty! Marty was rescued in southern CA in the middle of March dirty, matted and covered with burrs and sticky pickers. It was so bad that his coat had to be shaved down to his skin; his skin was infected, irritated, red and sore. He has spent the last few weeks at our vet getting treatments, is now doing much better, and just moved into a temporary foster home in CA. We plan to fly Marty to Chicago before the end of April. Marty is a sweetheart, gentle and affectionate. He loves attention and he is treat motivated! Marty gets along well with other dogs, and we don't think that cats will be an issue either. We have not yet tested him with children. Marty is approx. 7 + years old and about 28 lbs. If you are interested in giving this sweet boy a home and new life to be pampered, he surely does deserve it! Please send an EMAIL to: for questions and an adoption application. Marty will be fully vaccinated and neutered prior to adoption. PHOTOS SOON! Thanks!
